The property it’s rundown. The hand rail on the ladder to go down to the parking lot, it’s falling apart. The rooms itself are pretty rundown too. Staff very nice and helpful, everything very clean that you can smell the smell of cleanliness.

We stayed at Sapphire Beach Resort in St. Maarten and unfortunately the first room we were given was very disappointing. It clearly needed renovation, everything looked old and scratched, there was no hot water, and the bathroom is in serious need of a full update. Even the fridge was very outdated and not appealing. This left us with a very negative first impression and affected our first day. We requested to be moved and were given another room, which was much better. It appeared newly renovated, clean, and everything worked properly. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The view from the balcony overlooking the sea was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the beach. The cats around the property were also a nice touch. Overall, the experience was mixed, the initial room was very poor, but the second room, along with the location, beach, and friendly staff, improved the stay significantly.

Sapphire could be a very nice option. If they clean the place up. Its very outdated. Has a stale smell, my key card didn’t work for my room and i had to continuously get it fixed. We turned on a lamp in our room and knocked power to one side of the room. Property seem abandoned in some areas. Small Bugs in the room. Wasn’t enough wash towels. Positives, nice views from the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And tried their best to fix all the issues in A timely manner. Rooms are big in size. 5/10. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Personnel accommodant, attentionné et agréable (en très grande majorité) Check in et check out facile. Stationnement sous terrain sécurisé gratuit pour la voiture. Il faut savoir que ce n’est pas le luxe, hôtel vieillot, tout est vieux autant dans les chambres que les installations mais propre. Le lit était confortable correct. La cuisinette tout était fonctionnel. La cuisine n’était pas exactement comme sur les photos de l’hôtel mais similaire. La plage de l’hôtel est petite avec vagues, rochers mais eau très belle. Piscine était propre. Plage Mullet (moins 1KM) Plage baie rouge (6 min auto, vraiment belle) La plage de Cupecoy à côté est parsemée de nudistes, mieux vaut être avertis! (Vous devez le vivre si vous voulez voir la grotte de Cupecoy… et fiouu, c’est pas la petite grotte qui est la plus surprenante!!) Il y a un resto à l’hôtel, menu et heures restreintes mais tout ce qu’on a prit était bon. Plusieurs très bon restos à Porto Cupecoy et au Jordan village, moins de 15 min à pieds, aussi petites épiceries complètes (avec bons produits alimentaires, vins, bières, alcools à moins 15 min à pieds)

I got the deluxe suit with the ocean view and the room was beautiful with a perfect view of the ocean and a nice kitchen set with everything you needs. The staff were absolutely so kind and helpful, the bar had 2 different happy hours throughout the day. The pool was big enough for many people and the view was just breathtaking. They have a supermarket up the block from the resort and many different places to eat 3 blocks away. So many actives to do. We stayed at the resort for 8 days and everyday there was something to do, everyone we met as staff was giving so much good vibes. The best part too is you don’t even need to leave the resort because they have a personal supermarket downstairs from the lobby, gym and spa with a salon. I would definitely recommend that place to family members and friends.

The room was bright and clean, the bathroom was ok except for the toilet which didn’t flush properly , the balcony was awesome with a great view , we did have a ceiling leak after a heavy night of rain but it was near the balcony door so it didn’t bother us. The place could use some paint and updating other than that we really enjoyed our stay there

Nice resort. Friendly full kitchens living room in deluxe ocean suites. Not great food but we got groceries at nearby market and made breakfast and lunch most days. Near beautiful beach 4 minute walk.

It was visually clean, but giant roaches were coming out of the air vents in my room.
This roach was the size of 2 of my fingers. I was scared to kill it but I didn't want to find it some place else.

I did not have time nor the zeal to visit the beach nor the pool and didn't want to. There is some silly rule that everyone must make a $10 downpayment when a cab is called from the front desk and its returned when the can gets to the hotel - unfortunately, the night security guard couldnt provide me with change as i gave him a $20 and after waiting too long for the cab, he refused to return the money. i had to snatch it back from him to get back my cash and in return i was presented with a resounding barrage of expletives. Very distasteful and i really didn't want to stay there. the rooms are large but very very dated and half the stuff in the room don't work - blown bulbs and broken dusty, stained jaccuzzi. Its not a well-maintained property with unfriendly staff.

The room was clean; however, the air conditioning had a slightly musty smell. Unfortunately, the experience was disrupted when housekeeping knocked on our door before 10:00 a.m. and informed us that checkout time was 10:00 a.m. This was incorrect, as I had confirmed that checkout was at 11:00 a.m. I raised this with the front desk, as guests should not be disturbed before the official checkout time. Due to this experience, I would not recommend this accommodation to my medical team, friend or others.
