It is old, but quaint. Be advised there is no elevator! It is not fancy, but the staff was nice, and the bed was comfy. And the location is great if you are overnighting before a cruise!

We found the hotel while on a cruise and with the pool right out front on the beach we decided we would like to come back sometime and stay a week.We booked the room on beach side with a large deck overlooking the beach with a kitchen. We just loved it! It was perfect and while we never did use the kitchen, only to make coffee every morning, the restaurants were excellent! Very relaxing week!

The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views of the beach. The hotel itself is in okay condition, considering its age. However, the receptionist was not only unhelpful but unwilling to offer suggestions. I did not get into my room until almost 4:00. I had to keep going back to reception to see if my room was ready. It seemed like she did not want to be there and she is the first person a guest will meet. Not a good first impression.

Although location is great and only the staff in reception were polite, professional and courteous, unfortunately the amenities were not great. The personal in the bar / restaurant at the pool were very nasty and rude. They are more concerned to the “day pass” for the cruise than their client. I won’t be returning to this particular place neither will suggest it to others.

The hotel is not set up for handicap people. The lobby is on the second floor and there is no elevator. The room and washroom was clean but small with little room to move around the bed when entering the room. There was no hairdryer in the room and the amenities were small. The staff was great and helped with any concerns, especially the manager , "John". The location is wonderful as it is on the main street which is ideal for shopping and the beach was right behind the hotel. There was a lovely pool but there was no handrail, making it difficult to enter and exit without assistance.
