"I have stayed at the Skylark whenever I visit Lakeport. The rooms are always clean, beds pretty comfortable and the is staff friendlyand helpful. My only complaint would be the pillows are a bit flat for my liking."

"Having the restaurant closed until Friday was a major disappointment. We did not receive housekeeping one day of our stay either. "

"This one was is a mixed bag. The property is in an odd location, convenient but undesirable,. The room and actual building are not bad however, attention to detail is lacking. When I checked in the gentleman at the desk was very friendly and professional but when he asked his manager a question, she was incredibly rude, because I am a Hilton honors member he was assigning me the same grade room, but one in a better location, she intervened instructing him to give me the worse room and remove my Hilton honors points because I booked on Expedia. I wouldn’t stay there again just because of her incredibly unprofessional attitude. They do not have any legitimate dining options, which seems odd because there is an ideal space for it. Perhaps they did previously and closed it down, unfortunately it seems like this space has no reason."

"Our room was on the second floor. My husband is disabled. Came to find out the owner had not maintained the elevator for 4 years because he’s too cheap to apply for inspection it has to be fixed. Room sleeps 3 and the bed had no blankets sheets or pillows. The very kind kitchen prepper( no staff on hand and no WiFi info) got us a blanket that had a bowling ball size hole right in the middle. The all paper was peeling on all walls and corners. Room 205. I had to make four trips up 2 flights with luggage and one with my disabled husband which took 30 minutes. It’s quite a sh— hole. The mini frig fell out of its cubby face down onto the floor. "

"The room is very tired. Large carpet stain in front of the doorway. (Probably from a dog.) TV poor reception. Microwave from 1980(?) yellowed and turn dial for time. The coffee maker was an old Mr. Coffee with melted top forma curling iron. I selected this hotel over a Super * based upon pictures that were obviously old. "
