「My husband and I came to celebrate our first wedding anniversary with a night away in a Malmaison hotel. We have found f at previous Malmaison hotels a warm and uplifting experience. The hotel was clean and tidy but we're confused after a pre check-in that at 2 hours after the original check in our room wasn't ready and it was changed. 「It's quite good for my stay. I stayed in a room in the top floor. The staircase is a bit narrow, so you will find it more convenient if you don't have a big suitcase. The location is great. It's close to attractions in Brighton. I parked my car in the main street and just walked to the attractions.」

「We put all our towel in bath tub & supposed to have new towels on second day. But the housekeeper just put back all our used towels(mixed up our towels) in position. We then asked the reception for change of new towels but then the housekeeper didn’t change them, just tidy them again. However we recognised that they were our used towels again. Besides, all the facilities in bath rooms are outdated, really needed renovation! Really disappointed as they are not budged hotel & the rooms...

「Pleasant hotel/pub set in the Ashdown Forest. Room and bed were very comfortable although the shower control was extremely stiff to operate and would be impossible for someone with rheumatism/arthritis. Bus stops right outside so ideal for hikers/walkers」

「The location of hotel is good and you can find various shops, supermarket, restaurants and bars just around. The view outside is nice as you can see the sea at a walkable distance. You can also enjoy a coffee and breakfast at the cafe at beach. The indoor design is warm. However the heater did not provide enough heat and the hot water supply at bathroom is not stable. There is no lift and you may evaluate if you can take a big luggage upstairs although I guess you can ask for a room at lower...
