The room was perfect - really clean, huge double bed and bathroom with a bath - such a rarity these days to find hotels with a bath. It was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and the whole process of booking, checking in and out was great. I was a bit worried when I was told that the car park was first-come, first-served as there are limited spaces but actually it was fine and the free parking was a blessing. Would definitely stay here again. x

The location is excellent for walks along the seafront into Brighton or for hikes on the South Down (if you have a car). The hotel is clean, the beds were super comfortable with good quality sheets and mattress covers. The bathroom was fine with good shower pressure, if you have any mobility issues request room 2 on the ground floor which has a walk-in shower. Very quiet overnight (we faced the back of the building). We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for convenience of location and would be happy to stay again.
