"Hotel Casa Montero is a solid choice if you want to stay in the historic center of Quito. The entry courtyard is tranquil and inviting, and the beds are quite comfortable. "Hotel is an great location for the historic centre of Quito and was really clean and comfortable. My only issue was the rooms all overlooked the reception in a courtyard style and the door is always locked. So guests need to ring a buzzer to access the property, then when the door is opened a bell goes off. While this is not a problem in the day, when people come and go at night or early in the morning it does wake you up. A small issue in a great little hotel."

"I had a really enjoyable stay here at Hotel Sucre for 3 nights. The staff were very welcoming upon arrival. Shirley was brilliant. The rooms were very modern, clean and spacious. The towels were new and clean also. I felt very safe as the hotel had a guard who was also very helpful. Food options were great with choices of dishes and drinks. I used the laundry service which was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is excellent, 1 minute walk to the Metro and only 3 minutes to the main square. "

"All the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was limited but okay. I requested a room with a view, but didn’t realize it was 6 floors up—with no elevator! Do I asked for a lower-level room and got one on the third floor. The next night I moved to a lower floor, however, it was very noisy. Good thing I had my ear plugs. The location is fantastic!"
