「Hi highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel near Old Town Quito. Mario and Blanco were fantastic hosts from helping us during our very late arrivals, to a wonderful breakfast each morning, helping us with suggestions on where to go in Old Town, making our dinner reservation & transport to the airport. All were perfect! 」

「The breakfasts were a highlight. We were always asked what time we wanted breakfast and each day we were greeted with a healthy, tasty and Ecuadorian breakfast and fresh juice. The hotel is conveniently located in the historic Old Town but on the outskirts so there is little noise. For us a highlight was being able to watch the New Year's Eve tradition of burning effigies right outside of our window because it is in a residential neighbourhood. 「The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast delicious. This hotel was also in as great location! You have to use common sense at night time because the area becomes a little unsafe, but it’s perfectly fine during daytime. 」

「A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.」

「This hotel is beautiful. The room was very comfortable, featuring premium sheets and towels. One thing to note is that there is no elevator. This wasn’t an issue for us, but if you have trouble with stairs, be sure to request a ground-floor room.」

「Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury.」

「Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor.」
