Philadelphia is a great historical city with a lot to see and do. However, the crime rate is above average and you need to be aware of areas to avoid. Center city gets very quiet shortly after the workday ends except for Fridays and Saturdays.

Philadelphia has its good and bad areas, like any city. It's definitely on the rise though. Much cleaner and safer than it was when I grew up there in the early 2000's. Great restaurants (including vegan options), sports venues, and Museums.

I was out visiting my son who lives in Philly. We covered it all - the Liberty Bell, City Hall, Fishtown, the waterfront, South Street, Center City (saw the hall, the rollerskating around the area, the LOVE monogram, excellent for pictures!

We can't wait to visit again! What a fantastic town. We visited Victory Brewing, walked from City Hall to the Art Museum and back, enjoyed the best coffee at Konditori, and a killer breakfast at Green Eggs Cafe. We will be back soon, I hope

It's safe to visit. Just remember it's among the largest cities in the United States, with a varied mix of neighborhoods and people. It's very historic, and that was a big draw for me. Yet, it's modern, busy and vibrant. Come.

Philadelphias historic district is very cool. So many old buildings. It reminds me of a European city in places. Tiny little alleys with 300 year old houses. Old stone buildings. They did an excellent job of preserving history.

Loved the decor and the spacious bathroom counter. The women at the front desk each day were so friendly and helpful. "
