All the amenities for experienced urban travelers

Abode was great for a commuter stay in Philadelphia. Just north of the convention center, it was a healthy walk, easy car ride from downtown. They did a great job of updating the space. I would recommend for longer term as it has all the amenities. The second floor bed/bath offered a unique urban vibe. My unit was upstairs so I got in my steps! It's on the highway, but has double pane windows.

Absolutely love this property and plan on returning for a longer stay. Perfect size for 2-4 individuals, stylish and clean. Only negative is although the booking was a set price for the night, the property fee was almost the same price as one night so it’s basically double the price… Still very economical and worth the stay and every penny. Highly recommend this property, location is ideal!

This location was very convenient. Walkable to trader joes and the city and close to my daughter’s apartment too! It is on a busy street. I had no problem sleeping but it might be an issue for some. We were on the third floor and there is no elevator. I wouldn’t recommend this if you have older people in your party. It was a good workout for us especially with luggage.

No elevator for second or third stories, keep in mind bedrooms & bathrooms could be up another flight of stairs. Some bedding & towels had stains. Stocked kitchen with utensils & kitchen ware. Good location for walking but very noisy.

Philly tattoo convention weekend

The apartment was perfect for 3 adults, 2 in the bedroom; 1 on the sofa bed. Plenty of room to move around. Well-appointed with appliances; dishes, etc that you would need for eating in. Bed was extremely comfortable and that is usually my biggest problem. Everything was clean. The paint could use some touch up in places but you can tell it’s just from wear and tear and not dirty. Nicely furnished with sharp accents and furniture!! Extremely convenient to parking and attractions in center city.

The layout of the place was really cool. All the best appliances and furniture. Great fold out sofa bed. My gripes were dirty patio area with lots of flies. Area behind bedroom window had lots of trash and dust under the bed.

Prepare yourself for an avalanche of paperwork just to be allowed to check in to the property…including pictures of your credit card transactions (to validate that they made a small charge to your card) and a selfie of you and your drivers license. I’m not kidding. And if you have a guest prepare yourself to do this all over again for them. Once you make it to your room, make sure you have noise cancelling headphones and / or a good white noise machine, as this property is less than ten meters from the freeway. After one night sleeping there you’ll realize why they thoughtfully provided foam ear plugs at each of the side tables next to the bed. Needless to say, we will not stay there again. But if you enjoy experiences like drivers’ license reversals or filing complicated income tax returns, this just might be the place for you.

The location of this apartment is ideal. However, the apartment and the building are in need of some maintenance. The communication was good, but their words of reassurance did not result in fixes. The apartment is on a very busy corner, so it is traffic loud and it does not get very dark for sleeping. The stairway is dirty and the doors do not feel very secure. Bathroom sink and shower were very slow to drain, and although they said someone would fix them, no one ever showed up. Overall, it is a decent stay, but some TLC is needed on the apartment.

likes: Very convenient to places i wanted to go. Walkable. Some great dining choices in the immediate area. Communication was excellent with staff. Just off the highway which is good for when you're ready to leave. Very easy to get into apartment. DIdn't need to check-in. Washer/dryer - didn't use but glad it was there. dislikes: walls could use a paint job heard some noise from the highway but more so heard just about every move the people upstairs made. I was in basement apartment. bed could use a fitted bottom sheet. not sure why they use an unfitted sheet. gets tangled/moves a lot during the night. bed makes a lot of creaking noises all this being said, i would definitely stay there again

We stayed in unit E. The location was perfect for the convention center event. Parking was more than stated in the instructions, but it was still a good price. We could see the car from our window. You will need to use the earplugs supplied for night traffic noise and possibly bring an eye mask. The rooms are very bright with big windows esp. if you are sleeping on the sofa bed. Nice seating areas if you need to work on your laptop for work. The full-size kitchen is nice for heating up the leftovers. The sofa bed was not very comfortable, though. The bathroom is located in the small loft bedroom above. It was small but clean and manageable.

Starting for the communication, they send a lot of questionary at the same day of your check-in. I was in traffic trying to find all the requests very confusing and repetitive. My check-in was released late because of a bunch of request. The apt is very noise, mainly Saturday night. It is next to an avenue and all lights and outdoors lights from streets comes inside the apt all night long. I do not recommend to who has sleep issues. Not very clean. A ear plug are supplied by the host as regular procedure. No space for closes or luggage in the bedroom near the bathroom. No soap available in my bathroom but the little one to wash hands.
