My Boyfriend and I enjoyed our time at this location. It is conveniently located right off the highway, as well as right next to two parking garages. Check-in was a breeze. I will say our main grievance is the noise control. There is not a lot of insulation between the walls, so we could hear our neighbors next door during the day and the ones above us when they walked around their apartment in the middle of the night. The apartment is spacious, and the kitchen was very nice to have, especially if you plan to stay in the city for multiple days. The price was affordable compared to a lot of the hotels in the area as well.

Room was clean! It was listed to have toiletries and they had shampoo, conditioner, and lotion but no soap. We had trouble getting in first. The initial email included a code but we received an email with an updated code that didn’t work. We used to code from the initial email and it worked.

This was a great place to stay - walking distance from the train station; walking distance to museums & access to public transport. We were there one night, so didn't access the kitchenette, but it was well equipped & would be great for a longer stay.

My only complain would be that check in was a bit confusing and bc of roadworks it was a bit difficult to enter the property. Otherwise it was fantastic and will stay here again if I come back to Philly!

The place was very clean but it is in an area where it’s very loud. The view from the bedroom overlooks the highway. You can easily see the sunset/rise. Overall you will be listening to the ambulance, firetrucks and police cars all night.

I paid for the early check in only to find out the room hadn’t been cleaned and terrible communication with the house staff as they had not been made aware of my arrival. They did not provide any clean bath towels either.

If you're considering the Onyx, don't! Yes, the pictures look nice...thats about as good as it gets. You will hear everything all of your neighbors are doing, clearly and in detail. You might as well be in the room with them. This is at every moment of every day. Add to that they're attracting a low level Dollar General customer base (think parties, screaming, etc) and you've got all the makings of a terrible stay. Trust me and find somewhere else!

First time booking here sosuite at the onyx the apartment was nice and clean when I got there checking was a breeze walkable to places good amenities like washing machine combo in the bathroom and there was a kitchen and a full size fridge tv too they had rooftop forget to check the rooftop. all in all my stay was great I couldn't pick a better place to stay in would definitely go back here on my next stay in Philly.

To avoid delays in entering the building, please use a credit card for the deposit in the name of the main guest. The location of this building is extremely convenient for my needs, with excellent dining options nearby, especially close to the Convention Center. Additionally, the garage next door (Broad and Vine) offers discounted prepaid parking through SpotHero. When you pick up your rental car, make sure to enter the license plate number. You can then drive directly up to the gate, which will automatically read your plate and grant you 24-hour in-and-out privileges.

The thermostat was not working. The apartment was very hot. The host / management was not as responsive to provide a resolution as quick as possible. Very unprofessional in my opinion. It was a hassle to check in as well. Saying “let me make sure that the apartment was cleaned” id hope it would be confirmed it was cleaning 10 minutes before my check in.

Walked into a dirty room. The room was never cleaned worst experience ever. They couldn’t put me in another room as they were all booked. On the phone for 55mins to see what could be done they did refund me a day of my stay. But I would never stay at the SoSuite again! It was like walking in the room on girls trip just horrible!!!
