"I stayed at the Wyndham Detroit for four nights and had a mixed experience. My first room was located right next to the elevator, and the noise carried throughout the night. I ended up calling the front desk around 2 a.m., and to their credit, the staff was helpful and quickly moved me to a quieter room. That made a big difference, and I appreciated the responsiveness. Overall, the biggest opportunity is the condition of the property. The building feels dated and in need of renovation. There were visible signs of wear like baseboards separating from the wall and stains on ceilings and walls. While the bed and bathroom were clean, the overall upkeep made the stay feel less comfortable than expected. The lobby setup is very strange and not very comfortable if you have to wait to check into your room. Check-in also isn’t available until around 3 p.m., which may be worth noting if you’re arriving earlier. There are some positives here, especially with the staff being helpful when issues came up, but the property would benefit from some meaningful updates to match guest expectations."

"Huge rooms that would be great for a family. The big lobby was a great place to hang out after we saw a show. Rooms were clean but not *sparkling* clean. The glasses in the bathroom looked kinda cloudy, for instance. Also it’s $6 for a black coffee in the morning, and you might have to wait a long time to get it from the bar, although it is excellent. Overall, it’s a fine stay, but not a 5 star experience."

"Our group of 25 all stayed at hotel Indigo for a conference and had a great experience! The walk down to the conference center was super easy and there were many bus stops super close by to get anywhere we wanted to go! The staff was awesome and even helped us check in early! The beds were comfy and the AC worked well. The only thing I would note is that the bathrooms are a bit small and the door doesn’t have a lock on it."
