「Porthclew House was a wonderful surprise. Our room was wonderful so beautiful to the side of it. There was even a communal use balcony which we and had a glass of wine in the evening. Breakfast was great just what you need to set you up for the day. It’s a wonderful property from the grand stain glass entrance to a lovely gardens and location.」

「The staff were extremely friendly, it was my first time travelling solo and they made it a very pleasant stay.」

「Obviously a lot of effort has been made by the new owners to create a comfortable and upgraded environment. They are working hard and constantly on what was obviously a worn down building. Looking out from the room the gardens and view is spectacular. The room was large and comfy with great, instant hot water and lovely deep bath. Authentic home cooked curry was delicious.」

「It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too. The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely. Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely. It was like being in a fairy tale. Thank you all so very, very much <3」

「Clean & spacious room with good sized bathroom (bat & shower in most cases). Dog friendly. The bar serves one of the best pints of Felinfoel Double Dragon in town. Service is excellent with helpfully & very friendly staff. A good quality breakfast. I have stayed here on many occasions. In fact i shall be staying here again tonight being the 3rd time in 5 weeks. 」
