「So far was a good hotel for stay in Hilo. The only thing was bad experience, there was fire emergency alarm at 3:00 am to wake up every body and let’s waking down from stairs. Next day was no explaining what happened that night. 」

「The old Hilo Seaside Hotel on the corner of Kalanianaole Highway and Banyan Drive, across Reed's Bay prime location central to Hilo staples like Ken's and The Ponds Restaurants. The hotel itself consists of buildings with a central tropical courtyard or the swimming pool. Small gym, bikes to borrow, a mediation and common area. The room was clean and cozy. Much effort made in reducing carbon footprint by having the ability to open windows instead of only air conditioning.」

「The building is really aged and many tiny bugs' corpses in room. 24h hot water and no AC. Breakfast included, like coffee and donuts. It would be a reasonable choice for someone who spend the whole day outside of hotel and would just take a sleep there, plus save some money. Staff there is pretty nice.」

「We were looking for a place to stay one night in Hilo and found Arnott's. The room was small, but had everything we needed, including more outlets than most hotel rooms! We had access to a full kitchen, and the staff were great. 」

「Guy running the place has knowledge that can make your stay bounce from great to greatest. Yes he has some rules but his place for three days cost me less then one night at Prop 19 in Kona and was a lot better stay. But that side of the island is family more original Hawaiian they are Community oriented. You hear Mahalo and they mean it.
