「This is a really great property in an amazing location. We had the Magnolia apartment and the living room and bedrooms are huge. The palazzo is beautifully restored and it is such a comfortable place. We were able to get a water taxi directly to and from so no dragging luggage around Venice. I highly recommend staying here. 」

「Pensione Accademia is a rare find—set in a beautiful historical building with lush front and back gardens, which is quite unique for Venice. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Accademia vaporetto stop. Rooms are spacious and the air conditioning works well, though the shower doors could use an upgrade.」

Whoever did the modernising was not a perfectionist in terms of finish! But everything worked well and we enjoyed it enormously. The support we got from administration before out trip was excellent and the staff at the sister Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace were absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful.」

「Room was clean and the property is beautiful with some beautiful artworks. Staff was nice and pleasant. The older people working there are amazing, and the young can definitely learn from them. Simon was especially wonderful. When I checked in I was not told about the pool nor did I use it- I would have liked to take a peak at it for sure though! The hotel rooms are comfortable but they sorely need a coffee machine! A Nespresso would be ideal. I would visit and stay again. 」
