My family and I stayed at Hotel Landy, and although the staff was very kind and courteous during our stay, unfortunately the room was very disappointing. The carpet was dirty and stained, there were coffee capsules but no coffee maker, the electrical outlet was broken, and the ironing board had no iron. The air conditioning unit area was filled with trash, and the door had no latch, which made us feel unsafe.
Overall, it felt like an incomplete or poorly prepared room, as if no one had taken the time to check that everything was in order before assigning it to us.
Additionally, we were supposedly given complimentary welcome drink cards, each valued at $15. We were told they were free, but later found out they were actually charged to our credit card, which was frustrating and misleading.
While we truly appreciated the staff's kindness, the condition of the room and the confusion over charges did not meet even the most basic expectations for cleanliness, transparency, and service. I hope management takes these comments seriously and makes the necessary improvements.
