「This is a lovely place to stay if you're looking for a quiet historic lodging offering basic rooms and a pretty lame continental breakfast. This is not a luxury venue, but the beds are comfortable, bathrooms have been nicely updated and there is a TV, coffee maker, and a small fridge in each room. The walls are thin and noise does travel. The website is very accurate in its depiction of the building and grounds. There's no pool, no tennis courts, no outdoor seating and no particular tourist...

「Hotel was ridden hard and put away wet!! So, to speak. All the carpets in the halls and stairs were extremely dirty and really need to be replaced. While the room was clean, I don't believe the hotel puts a lot of effort in maintenance. Also, there is a no smoking rule, but the rooms still had a sense of smoke smell.」

「I had never heard of this casino/hotel. I was blown away by the staff (everyone at the front desk were so helpful!!) the amenities (though I didn't use the casino), the cleanliness of my room, really everything! I was going to Beak & Skiffs venue for a concert. A little far away for that venue but some guests helped me with directions. I will definitely return!!」

「We checked in 7/30/26 around 2:00ish. The young lady behind the counter was everything a person in the service business shouldn't be. What they should be is friendly, attentive and helpful. She was there the next morning around 9:00am when we came down for breakfast. Unfortunately her behavior the day before wasn't an exception. this time she bordered on the edge of downright rude when I asked for extra pillows and towels.
