The Onedia Mansion House is a wonderful place to stay. It a unique experience to stay in a Museum and Historic House such as the Mansion. This is not the usual B&B or hotel. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious and grounds are lovely for walking.

Interesting and different type of stay. Getting there late at night and waiting for us with clear instructions felt good. The building feels like a maze but then with start familiarizing with it. Comfy bed and clean room. Nice stay

This is such a cool and unique experience! Lots of history and the grounds are gorgeous! Air conditioning was powerful on those hot summer nights! However, the floor above us is private living quarters and the person was making noise until 2:00am. Bring headphones and a noise machine!

The room was large, comfortable and clean. This is a unique historic property and has been restored/maintained to the original condition, so don’t expect a Holiday Inn, but the rooms have all the modern conveniences. My bathroom was completely modern and most importantly, clean. I was there mostly at night and it seemed I had the whole place to myself, which was a little spooky, but there are many historical exhibits to explore that are open to explore even at night. A very unique experience and if you like history and historical properties, this is a great way to get an up close look!

Only it's isolation from other attractions, restaurants etc. is really a disadvantage. Cazenovia NY is about 30 minutes away and is a lovely village with many attractions.

This is not just a place to get some sleep-it’s a history lesson you can sleep in! If you appreciate old architecture and the story behind it-this is the place for you! All of the usual hotel needs were available -comfortable rooms, large bathroom, comfy bed (except the pull out, but I knew what to expect…). It’s part museum, hotel and apartment building all in one! Take the guided tour if you have time-very informative! You can also tour on your own. Lovely place, interesting history!

This is a lovely place to stay if you're looking for a quiet historic lodging offering basic rooms and a pretty lame continental breakfast. This is not a luxury venue, but the beds are comfortable, bathrooms have been nicely updated and there is a TV, coffee maker, and a small fridge in each room. The walls are thin and noise does travel. The website is very accurate in its depiction of the building and grounds. There's no pool, no tennis courts, no outdoor seating and no particular tourist draws in immediate area. Dining options in the area are limited to fast food, and there is one nicer restaurant in nearby Oneida. That said, though not for everyone, it's atmospheric and comfortable and we plan to return.

I booked a "superior room" on Expedia at a slightly higher cost. The bill from Oneida CM said "standard room". I sent a message to OCM asking in what way my room is "superior", but I didn't get an answer. The "superior" room pictured on Expedia (with red curtains) does exist, but I was assigned a somewhat smaller room than it. All guest rooms in OCM have private baths (this is not made clear on Expedia) and I advise future guests to save their money and book standard rooms. Otherwise the property and rooms were exactly as expected.
