「I had a very bad experience with this hotel, it’s not a hotel, it’s not 4 star, there isn’t breakfast, no wifi and the owner doesn’t care. The rooms are not actually attached to the bar/restaurant downstairs so upon check in I I had to ask around as I was not given any instructions, where the barman gave me the owners number and I just had to keep calling until she picked up the phone to tell me the code to the lockbox. The room was fine but nothing special by any means. Breakfast is a room...

「Don’t bring a cat - there’s no room to swing it in the bedroom. And the TV was comically small. That being said, it was clean and tidy and the food excellent. Staff also very friendly.」

「Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Great, helpful staff. Close to bus station, restaurants, stores, boutiques, and four-FOUR charity shops! :) (Parking is confusing, however. Park in the nearby city lot in a space with WHITE borders-otherwise you may have to pay.)」

「We stayed here one night on the way back down from Scotland. The evening meal was ok, although elements of my wife’s starter weren’t included as on the menu. We drew this to the attention of the Manager who apologies and said they they would remind the chef to include all elements of the dish in the in future, but nothing else was offered. My Steak pie was delicious but my wife’s sea bass wasn’t to her liking either. The room was clean, but the TV in the room wasn’t tuned in ind I could only...

「We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our room (127) was spacious and well equipped, in a quieter position looking over the car park away from but conveniently located for the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent too. Would definitely recommend and stay here again 👍」

「This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August.」
