"Absolutely awesome stay at the Hotel Du Lac signature for our two nights in Hanoi. Superb staff throughout, friendly and attentive and recognising us and calling us both by name throughout our visit. Amazingly quiet, comfortable and cool room for our stay as well. Would not hesitate to come back here on a future visit. Thank you!"

"Excellent value for the money. Great location. Quiet given you are booking in the Old Quarter. Staff is EXCELLENT. They are very accomodating and speak excellent English. The pool area is mainly covered so if you want sun they can't provide. Breakfast buffet was perfectly fine. I have stayed here twice in Hanoi. I spurlged before for nicer. Was in the Old Quarter but louder and the staff were horrible...."

"The staff were very kind and friendly, and the cleaners did an amazing job at keeping our rooms tidy. However, the whole place was much older than we expected from the photos. No stairs for the first two floors so unless you’re staying at ground level, you will have to climb a couple of flights of stairs to get to the lift. The initial room was like a basement that smelled mouldy, they luckily gave us another room, but even the better room had mould between the shower tiles and the shower floor was extremely slippery so we both had falls in the shower. There was a good selection of food at breakfast, and the location was fantastic. However, I will opt for a more modern, cleaner hotel next time I visit Hanoi."
