「This hotel is wonderful - staff are brilliant, so friendly and efficient and really welcome you and look after you throughout. Love the seemless security, based on facial and car registration recognition. 「I debated writing this review because part of me wanted to gatekeep this place… but who knows when we’ll be back in South Africa? Atlantic View Hotel delivered hands down the best service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I didn’t want to leave. The bed was unbelievably comfy, the view was stunning, and don’t even get me started on the breakfast, just wow. Every single staff member was so friendly and welcoming. 「Chic and trendy hotel. Very nice staff and always willing to help. Free valet parking.
Area is probably a little more mixed - the hotel themselves don’t recommend walking on the street alone after dark. We just took uber point to point and we were fine. We would always see hotel staff/security so it felt safe enough.
One small complaint - we stayed on 5th floor which is right underneath the rooftop bar and could hear some stomping. Could not hear sound from other rooms next door so that bit...
