「Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x」

「The bedroom was clean and tidy, staff were excellent very polite and friendly. The only slight criticism was the wooden chairs in the conservatory dinning room were uncomfortable. The food was outstanding. 」

「We enjoyed a wonderful stay, we were made very welcome and the room (Granville) was absolutely lovely. The bed was very comfortable and there was ample tea coffee chocolate supplies in the room. 「I paid higher price for a room with a private bathroom, unfortunately the private bathroom is not in my room, my wife and I had to walk across the public landing, passing another room door, to get to the “private bathroom”. There are small insects too, we don’t mind the spiders, but the flies are quite annoying.」

「My room was in the coach house, just outside tje doors of the main building. It was very clean with just baked biscuits and Tregothnan tea. A gorgeous view of the garden was welcoming on arrival.」

「We didn't make it in time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked great, as was the St Austell beer. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms in the annex next door. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic. 」
