  • This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!

When we arrived, the bed was physically falling apart. The slats under the mattress were on the floor and it was falling through the bed frame. We had two adults staying in the room, and there were only two towels total for the entire three night stay. No hand towels, no wash cloths, no towel for the floor. The lighting in the room was very poor and we couldn’t hardly see. The building has a musky smell to it and the staff aren’t very friendly or accommodating. We paid for an upgraded room and it was quite literally bare bones. The nightstand was also falling apart. I recommend staying elsewhere!!

Most basic things at the room were not up to par. Examples include, the bed lamp, the shower faucet, the desk was wobbly and the bathroom had no door, making the room look like a cell.

Overall this is a fine place to stay. The staff were all helpful and kind. The hotel itself is an interesting, former apartment complex. The A/C in the room isn’t the best but the room does what it needs to do if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable to sleep. The bar area on site is a cool location and worth checking out.

Great spot if you’re traveling with ur pup. Hotel staff was super friendly and accommodating. They let me check in an hour before and gave me a courtesy check out 1 hr later. The receptionist was very kind! Hotel bar has great drinks and food

The hotel is in a good area because you are close to many places you might want to visit. However, the rooms inside are extremely small compared to what they show in the photos. The bathrooms are shared with other guests, which I did not like, and the description did not clearly specify that. I’m sorry, but in my opinion it would be a 5 out of 10, although the service staff were attentive despite everything.

I’m not sure where to start, let’s just say I wouldn’t stay here again even if they paid me to! I actually ended my trip early because of how horrible this place is. From the outside looking in the place is aesthetically appealing with the whole Little Havana theme. However, that’s the only thing nice about it. The inside is filthy, bugs everywhere!!! I thought I was getting ate up by mosquitoes but no it was FLEAS! Even after switching rooms we didn’t even get unpack before noticing fleas in the new room as well. I ended trip early because I refused to stay another night getting bit up by fleas so I slept in the car my last night. Even after having video and picture proof I wasn’t offered any type of compensation for the inconvenience. As if the bugs weren’t bad enough the property has no elevator and guests are expected to haul their own luggage up and down 3flights of stairs if they’re any floor but the first! The noise I expected from the reviews so it didn’t really bother me even though there is a draw bridge the goes off about everything 30min-1hr. The AC was trash because you can’t control how cool your room is even though you’re in hot humid Miami with a ceiling fan that is only good for decoration because it barely works. This place is truly a nightmare, book at your own risk ⚠️ wish I could post pics and videos…

No TV in room. No AC. Bathroom looked unfinished. Walls were as thin as paper, could hear the people nextdoor like they were in the room with us. Lock on main door didn't work. There was even a screw fdriver holding the window blind in place.

The property is so cute and there is a bar and little dinner area outside by the pool. It is loud at night so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have young kids or like to go to bed early. But we had a great time! Most of the staff spoke English as a second language and we struggled to communicate with some of the but everyone was nice.

I had a very short one-night stay to volunteer at the 305 Half Marathon. Prior to my arrival, I asked for a room away from the restaurant to avoid at least some noise, and they kindly obliged in a timely manner! I love how conveniently located this place is...not in the nicest neighborhoods, but within walking distance of Brickell.
