「Tuve una feliz y tranquila estancia」

「The room at first night was small and there’s serious problem with the shower, the sewer was clogged and water flowed over all over the room all the way to the downstairs, we had to request to change to another room. Swimming pool at rooftop was not well maintained so the water looks not clean. 」

「Hotel Rio Malecon is a great hotel! Friendly staff and an excellent restaurant, Coexist Bistro (Italian/Mexican). The property itself is a little dated but the rooms are very clean, the beds are comfy and the air conditioning works great! There is a unique pool and lounge area in the courtyard too! You can't beat the location right on the malecon with tons to do and see all within walking distance. See you soon!」

「Generally an excellent stay. Reception and cleaning staff were helpful, pleasant and warm. Hotel needs updates for sure, as it is an older hotel, but all the basics were good and working in our room. No complaints at all. Plan to return. Lovely view of ocean , palm trees and beach from our room. 」

「The room is clean. A terrace bar right outside my room. Quite convenient if you are lazy to walk out for drinks; you can just grab one at the bar. The noise doesn’t bother much coz the bar closes at 11pm. Good location, easy walks to the marina, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. The air-conditioner is noisy and filter needs to be cleaned though. Considering a hotel room on a budget, this is a very good choice.」
