  • We stayed in the Yurts at Spa Buena Vista and a short walk down the beach are these palapas which are perfect for the hot sunny days. The beach here goes on and for miles. The area is on top of natural hot thermal springs and some spots along the waters edge are actually to hot to stand on because of the thermals. We also saw three different sea turtle nest marked for their safety and had the date the eggs were laid. #BeachTips

The dogs were free to stay! The grounds were great for the dogs it was guilt and quaint. Rooms were clean although they need to look behind doors for dust etc. Ocean view was really nice. The restaurant was good! Service was great! Good delicious!

This listing was La Paz and it is NO WHERE near La Paz. It is up the coast from Los Barriles. Very remote, quiet and peaceful. Great place to step away from the world.

Nice place near the beach. Balcony for the room was great. Only issue was that the pool water was green in color. We did not go in because of that.

Beautiful property but be aware this shows as La Ribera when it is actually in El Cardonal. Room was comfortable but next to the games room so pretty loud. It had a backyard view, not an ocean view but the other rooms would have a great view. Food was good and the staff were very friendly.

The hotel was set a little away from the beach but it was only a ten minute walk to the ocean. The room was very comfortable and clean with a large terrace that overlooked the ocean. There is a rooftop with easy access and fantastic 360 degree views of the ocean, beach and mountains. I was there in January so the pool was kind of cold, as to be expected, but it was very clean and would look very inviting when warmer. Felipe and Alexis (and everyone else behind closed doors) were fantastic and very inviting. The food at the hotel restaurant, Cielito Lindo, was simple yet delicious and the service was great. Felipe was very accommodating with requests.

We never made it to the hotel! The Expedia map directions took us over a very dangerous dirt and rock road. We got stuck (even in 4wd). It was getting dark and my wife and I were very scarred! Luckily, we were saved by a gentleman who was coming the other direction on an atv. He couldn't pass, since the road was very narrow. He was able to help us backdown the mountain and get to safety. After we got to safety, I called and texted the hotel, and Expedia! No response from either of them. The next day I did get thru to Expedia, who told me I could get a refund, but I had to upgrade to a "refundable" reservation and pay an extra $400. Something isn't right with this listing. Be careful of potential fraud.

Realmente es un lugar muy agradable, los empleados se esmeran en atenciones y logran que el visitante se sienta satisfecho, falta luz en las habitaciones y actualizar los servicios en baños. Es largo el camino a Barriles, podría recortarse y solicitar un tramo de carretera desde La Paz, ya que su ubicación es muy cansado. Pero estuve agusto. Gracias
