Cleanliness, location, views, and friendly staff are definite positives. The morning buffet is very good, but the buffet isn’t open three times a day. Food options overall are limited, and after 10:30 PM all food outlets close. Getting food often requires walking all the way to the beach side, while most dining is on the 7th floor—great city and marina views, but not very convenient. Nighttime activities are minimal: only one pool table in Whale Watchers Club on 8th or 9th, no table games, and limited entertainment. The performance stage is very small. The lobby feels dead most of the time and lacks basic amenities—no washrooms, no coffee, and no snack options. I’ve stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, and this one falls short when it comes to food availability and evening atmosphere.

We had a great time at Finisterra. The hotel is in great location, spotlessly clean, the grounds are beautiful, the food is good (mainly à la carte but no reservations required) and the staff are very courteous and friendly. The rooms we had were a little dated but huge and very clean and comfortable. We overlooked the pool. The sunsets on the beach and spotting whales were a highlight but we enjoyed the pools in the day with great poolside bar service and plenty of loungers. The only small negative was the food choices at lunch. The pizza/sushi poolside were delicious but took a long time (the staff were working tirelessly - not their fault) and the lunch restaurant was quite slow. Also, it was nice to be able to play but the pickleball nets need replacing. We really enjoyed our stay.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful Christmas family getaway at this all-inclusive resort in Los Cabos. Our daughter had a blast with the pools and the variety of organized activities, such as making keychains, decorating cupcakes, and painting Christmas trees and T-shirts. The food variety was great, including the sushi bar, the Italian restaurant, and the buffet. The nightly entertainment and special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day events were truly top-notch, and we were so touched that the staff provided a birthday cake for my wife’s celebration. We did experience a few minor maintenance issues, including one night without hot water and our bath soap bottle being empty/not replenished on Christmas Eve. We also dealt with some mosquitoes in the room, which may be typical for the area, but worth noting for future guests.

We visited Cabo for the first time with our family of four, and it was the best resort we’ve stayed at in all our travels so far. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and hardworking. The location was outstanding—just across the street from the marina. We stayed in a junior suite overlooking the pool, and the room was luxurious. It will definitely be hard to beat this resort for the price and amenities. The food was fantastic as well. They offer four sit-down restaurants, though I hope they consider adding a high-end Japanese or Asian restaurant with sushi in the future. All in all, it’s a great place for families to visit.

Clean place, nice facilities, plenty of things to in the resort and around the resort. Great staff and great view’s. Only thing reason for the 4 star. I thought the food could be better. In all reality I would rate 4.5
