The town is still charming and quaint, but several stores and the Mendocino Hotel restaurant and bar are closed. They are still recovering from the pandemic and problems the drought caused. But, we had a lovely time and loved our experience.

Mendocino is a beautiful place. The beaches are breathtakingly beautiful. The state parks in the area are great. Next time I will stay at a better hotel and probably not use this booking site unless I can get a resolution on this stay.

Mendocino is always beautiful, especially in the winter when the crowds are low.
"The B&B at Inns of Mendocino was outstanding. Quirky stand-alone room built like a water tower as part of JD House. Location was walking distance to shopping, restaurants and art studios. "
"Bed comfort. Good position close to Glass Beach. Fort Bragg is a must-to-go small but beautiful town. Enjoyed the kind and welcoming service of this hotel. You can find lovable food easily in the town."
"Large room, with fireplace.
Closing for renovations under new ownership.
Clean, newer bathroom. Large closet, Close parking.
Lobby smelled or marijuana every time (3) I was there.
No bar or restaurant on site, but close by options were good, varied, and numerous.
I will return after renovations are complete., "
"When we first arrived 27 minutes earlier the lady said the room was not ready so we went back to the car for 3:00 pm check in. I think she knew I was a bit irritated that we couldn’t check in early and she came out to the parking lot to get us.. when I opened the door I chuckled as the room was super small. That didn’t bother me because it was super clean. I picked the cheapest room they had so it makes sense that it was tiny. Most important super clean.. "
