「On the first night, our hvac unit burned up at 3:30 am. The overnight attendant, young lady, acted quickly and moved us to a new room. That act alone could have earned Avid 5 stars. However, on the morning of checkout, a new desk attendant coldly denied our request for a noon checkout. She said I can only give you 30 minutes!!! We visit family in Melbourne on a regular basis, but we won’t stay there again or recommend Avid. You have two shining stars at that location—the young lady who moved us...

「Recently updated everything felt new and clean. We had a King on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the pool. There was a separate bedroom with a separate thermostat for the bedroom and the living area, something not often found in similar hotels. The room was super spacious with a well appointed kitchen area including a Keurig coffee maker, microwave and fridge. The rate for this room was very reasonable and worth every dime. The room was quiet as well. The shower had great water...
