「My first time to Marshall and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Check in was quick and very pleasant. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. I didn’t have time to eat the next morning but it looked lovely, Checkout was a breeze! I’m putting the contact information on my phone book. I’ll definitely return there. My grandson is a student at the University of Olivet, so I’ll definitely be back!」

「Poor customer service. Signs in the room say no problem if you forgot to bring amenities available upon request. Well all they had were 2 towels in the room and didn’t have any available and was told won’t be any until the next day in the afternoon. The receptionist way of expressing that was that he was being bothered and wasn’t even thinking about going above and beyond to make a loyal customer happy. Guess washing towels is too much work now a days.」

「Our room had a portable humidifier/AC unit. It was crazy loud and water sprayed out of it onto the bed. The mattress was not comfortable. The tv stand had a broken drawer that was sitting on an angle. Towels were supposed to be white, but had several stains on them. We had no coffee table, or chair like the other rooms.」

「I really have to say it was a mistake to have booked this place; it should be inspected by some authority. Our stay was very bad. First, we arrived having already booked this place online, so we had no references. On the day of our visit, my children, my wife, and I entered our assigned room, turned on the light, and what was there was far from normal ,There were cement stains on the carpet. Well, I thought, maybe we'd continue with the remodeling, since my kids were already sleepy. Traveling...

「One of our favorite places to stay on our way through Michigan. Front staff are VERY friendly and VERY helpful. Property and rooms are very clean. Breakfast is better than most other places with scrambled eggs (not clear if box mix or just well scrambled), bacon strips (processed, but real meat), oatmeal, several choices of cereals, fresh bananas/apples, yogurt, waffles, and breads/toast. Pool is nice, but too small for swimming. Did not try hot tub, but looked nice. Rooms have very high...

「Room had a jacuzzi tub but didnt advise us at check in that it didnt work. Shower was almost unusable being clogged and what little water we had the water was shooting all the wrong ways. Was also some random hairs laying around. I will not return. I paid $160 for what was worth maybe half that.」
