「The room was not clean and the staff was not rest Respect」

「My first time to Marshall and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Check in was quick and very pleasant. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. I didn’t have time to eat the next morning but it looked lovely, Checkout was a breeze! I’m putting the contact information on my phone book. I’ll definitely return there. My grandson is a student at the University of Olivet, so I’ll definitely be back!」

「Super nice staff. I found this place after a paid booking was cancelled at another hotel. A little further out that I would like but it was worth it. I got to check out some local bars in Charlotte. A big shout out to Frank. He checked me in and the other staff was very friendly. If you want something clean, inexpensive and not a bad drive to MSU, check out this place.」

「Staff was super friendly. Our room was clean, the hallway smelt nice. Even tho the pool is in the middle of the hotel, it doesn’t have a strong chlorine smell. Breakfast was okay, sausage was burnt on one side and eggs were watery but I have had worse at other places. Overall the hotel was great, super clean and very quiet.」

「Biggest issue I had was an almost total lack of the ability to speak English by the person at the front desk at night. I made a reservation for two rooms. It asked for the other travelers’s name for the second room when I made the booking. The gentleman checking me in, could not find the other reservation. 「For being a right leg amputee this hotel was perfect for me. The big bathroom with bars and roll in shower with a big fold up seat with the legs was great. The water could have been a little hotter the 3 nights I stayed. The room it's self was spacious for me to get around in my wheel chair or rolling Walker. I spoke to 3 of the staff members while I was there and they were great! Angie, Ronda this morning , and I believe Morgan was at the desk last night what a great staff to have. Thank you...

「The only good thing was it was next store to the casino. TV went out and I called the front desk to ask for help and the gal said, I don't know anything about it and I am the only one here. Then when taking a shower in the morning we found out they have sulphur water, didn't even feel like you took a shower!! Could not get out of there fast enough. Oh and we are in our 70's and they gave us a 2nd floor room and there is NO ELEVATOR! Will NEVER STAY there again!」

「We didn’t even stay the night. Went somewhere else. Asked for a refund but non refundable online. He offered us another room but didn’t want it cus of the condition of the first room. Just said we will chalk that $75 up. Room smelt bad. The mattress cover had old blood stains from bed bugs that’s the main reason we didn’t stay. The guy was friendly but a no go for us. 」

「Didn’t even check in. Pulled into the parking lot and noticed that the windows were busted out of at least 3 of the rooms. Felt very unsafe. Boyfriend went in and checked the lobby and was going to have host show us a room but the lobby was absolutely nasty. We ended up going in and talking to the host and he told me he had already cancelled my booking because the card I used to hold the room didn’t go through. 「Food was ok. The room was dirty the hot tub in room 302 does not work. I have rented rooms a couple times bad every time. There is no matnence person so dont believe them when they say they are sending one to you. ILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.」

「Great breakfast with many items. Fresh coffee and waffle as well as wraps and items for health conscious people. Their breakfast offered more items than usually offered in hotels of this kind. Host Jennifer is very kind and gracious 」

「Shower and cabinetry in the room looked like it needed cleaned. Breakfast was very poor. It went from 6-9;30. At 8:30 when we were there, they were out of almost everything except dry cereal, yogurt, a few muffins, and 3 apples. Little was done to bring out more food. Most people were standing around waiting for more, but ultimately left. All of that aside, it was quiet and the bed was comfortable.」
