「These pods were super cute and very clean. The heating in it was fantastic and kept us warm on a very cold and wet night. We were provided with the and coffee making facilities and a bag of marshmallows to toast by the fire. Kids really enjoyed it. We could also hear and sometimes see the lions nearby. 」

「The hotel wad in a good location within 10 mins walk of the centre of Rye. Free parking was a real benefit. Hotel staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, quiet and spacious with a nice view looking out over the river. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very tasty. We enjoyed our stay at the Haven hotel and would thoroughly recommend. 」

I am delighted to say that this stay was no different but actually exceeded expectations. The staff on reception were so friendly and welcoming. I booked in for an evening meal. My room was around the back where there was additional parking in from of the lodge. My room was a suite with a proper full size, king size bed. 「The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly...
