The rooms are quite old, and some details have clearly not been taken into consideration. There is only one power outlet, there is no hanger in the bathroom, and there is an unpleasant, somewhat strange smell in the lobby and corridors. However, the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Bathroom was very small, shower was so small you couldn’t even turn around. It had a curtain that was useless as water would flood the small area and flood the floor. Cleaners did come every day and cleaned the room and did the beds which I appreciated and staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: Good location, nice staff, clean rooms and facilities, reasonably priced. Cons: Tiny, slow elevator, no a/c and limited ventilation, few electrical outlets in rooms, many rooms have views only of air shafts and infrastructure.

It was crazy hot when we were here but the property doesn't have AC. Usually in England, that's not a problem! Big room, nice bedding, twin beds were helpful & big mirrors for getting ready. Bathroom was a good size.

Our room was not as expected. The pictures vs what we got. The room was out dated. Standard double bed. The lighting was terrible- one hall light, 2 bed lamps, and a bathroom light. The power outlets next to the bed on both sides didn’t work. We told the staff and they checked the fuse box, but nothing changed. We had a 3 night stay with only one power outlet that worked for us! We stayed on the 4th floor and the entrance into the floor smelled like bad moist carpet. The location was convenient to most popular places in London. But we would not stay here again. Sadly, we didn’t take pictures on the room. There wasn't much to work with.
