Right in the heart of Bromley and yet the room was nice and quiet to sleep in. Beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Had a wonderful 6-day stay at the gorgeous Royal Bell. Exceptional service—everyone was eager to please and made sure our stay was flawless. It's in the heart of Bromley and convenient to stores and restaurants. We booked a deluxe double room, which was spacious, including the bathroom and its oversized shower. Gorgeous bathroom hardware and a VERY comfortable king-sized bed. Luxurious linens and modern furnishings with a nod to its historic past. The surprising bonus was the ground floor back patio, with a variety of seating arrangements, including couches and tables. We came with my 95-year-old mother-in-law in a wheelchair one evening, and the staff brought her blankets and carried a heavy heating lamp from the floor above us, just to keep her comfortable. (It made her day.) Do not miss having an authentic Italian pizza at Aldo's next door—we had the personal size which was good for 2. The crust is tender and the sauce delicious. The attached cafe serves coffee, tea, and pastries (not just any pastries), flown in from Italy. They will soon be offering a full breakfast.  We look forward to our next visit to the Royal Bell.

This is a very nice newly renovated hotel located in a historic building that was built in 1898. The hotel has cool vibe that fuses historic tradition with a stylish modern artistic flair. The co-located Garden Bar and restaurant is very nice with hip sports bar thing going on. The junior suite room that we stayed in was modest, functional and comfortable. The property also has a nice, reasonably equipped, smallish fitness room that my wife and I happily used. The one and only drawback to this hotel, depending on one’s perspective, is that there is no elevator in this three story historic building. However, the hotel staff will happily tote your luggage to and from your room. Overall, I give the Royal Bell a 9.5/10. We stayed at the Royal Bell because I flew a Supermarine Spitfire out of Biggin Hill airport and wanted to stay in a nice hotel that reflected some of the spirit of London but wasn’t too far away from either the Biggin Hill airport or King’s Cross Station. The Royal Bell hit the mark perfectly.

New property. Lovely staff. No hot water and no heating in Room 306 Hillman Suite. Provided feedback to the lovely receptionist. This hotel has the opportunity to be something great but facilities issue need urgent attention or it will undermine the good work of your customer facing staff. Customer facing staff and clients have been let down here.
