Stayed on Queen floor with a great view of the city. Room was impeccable and comfortable. Walk-in Shower was fantastic. Bed was very comfy too. Really enjoyed this stay. Would come again.
We stayed here while our friend who lives nearby was having a baby. It was perfect for that. Very stylish and clean, a refuge for us while we felt able to be on hand for our friend.
This was a lovely stay in a beautiful room. Very comfy bed! Check in and oit was super quick, easy snd friendly and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe
A lucky find! Convenient location, close to Leytonstone underground station. Perfect as we had tickets for ABBA Voyage. We booked three rooms, all slightly different, very comfortable, lovely decor. Had food in the pub, typical pub food, reasonably priced.
We would definitely return.
We stayed one night for a family event in November 24. Both the pub and the hotel were wonderful! The room was super clean and extremely comfortable. Although there was a DJ playing, we heard nothing from our room. On top of this, it was in a great location with plenty of shops and food around, plus only a 5 minute walk to the tube. Thank you so much and I would recommend you to anyone needing to stay around the area!!!
Hotel is full of charm. Family room is on 3rd floor (no lift) and very comfortable. Lady at reception is very welcoming and super helpful. Just make sure to double check the check-in time. Reception is closed and empty before then. It's impossible to park in surrounding streets between 10 am and 2 pm without a special LSE permit. Tesco nearby offers 3h of free parking. Leytonstone station is a short walk away. "J'adore" bakery next door is a good option for breakfast. All round a good experience.

The room itself was nice enough, although not as good as the room we had last time. There was a party going on in the pub until 1am, lots of street noise and cars racing up and down the road, so we didn't get to sleep until gone 1am. However, this was to be expected in Leytonstone High Street and above a pub. What was NOT expected, was some random man walking into our LOCKED hotel room at 7:30am! Somehow, this person had entered the supposedly secure building & despite us locking the door from the inside, using the outside handle just unlocked and opened the door without needing the key card. Luckily I was able to get the man to leave but anything could've happened (especially to a female staying there alone) and my partner was unable to get back to sleep afterwards. We'd been out all evening whilst the party was going on & anyone could've come into our room, taken our belongings etc. I've contacted the company that owns this venue by email and phone, but have had no response whatsoever. It would seem they don't care about the security of their guests, once they have your money. We certainly won't be staying here again.
We stayed in the Alfred room - the ‘deluxe’. It was v nice but the mattress was awful on the divan box bed. My husband is a big man and this felt like it wasn’t a pocket sprung mattress. We kept rolling into each other. Which made for a really bad night.
Big building, no lift and the Alfred room was a long way up, for those who might find that a problem. Pub kitchen had closed when we wanted to order food at 7pm mid week but you could order pizza to the pub, we just didn’t fancy it that evening.
