Mixed experience unfortunately. When I got to the room there was a used contact lens left on the bedside table which wasn’t great. I also found a spider inside the kettle and the TV remote was really dusty. On top of that there was no WiFi signal in the bedroom. That said, the gentleman at reception who checked me in was amazing – really friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Check in was straight forward, location was good - close to the tube station, and Hyde park. It was a little tricky to find a nice looking restaurant within 10 mins walking distance, but that's personal taste. The hotel is located on a lovely tradition street which was nice, and the coffee machine in the lobby was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable, good sized bathroom and it was all clean too. The common area downstairs was ok, but some updating/modernization would be great, especially to the hall ways, a little bar or somewhere for cold drinks and snacks would be nice too. This would make it 4 star. Overall a nice stay.
