The reception area looks completely different to the photos on the listing. It looked quiet empty but was still tidy and looked clean. It says on the listing that reception was 24/7, however there was a few occasions where we were stood waiting for someone to come to reception for 10 minutes before someone come. The small interactions from staff we had, they were nice and polite.
In the room, the shower curtain was missing, so we couldn't use the shower properly and there was no shower mat and we weren't able to get one.
There was no towels supplied with the room until the second day of our visit after us having to buy someone as we were told we were given some. We couldn't speak to someone on reception as every time we went there was no one there.
There was multiple marks on the carpet in several places that looked like round burn marks. There were also missing chips out of almost all bits of furniture in the room and quite noticeable too. One of the lights next to the bed was also broken, like the little glass 'shade' had been broken and it hasn't been fixed before we arrived and had jaggered edges.
Throughout the stair well and walls leading up to the room, there was scuff marks from the floor to shoulder height and the paint was mis-matched in colour throughout (magnolia and white). It looked like it needed some attention.
AC unit didn't work however we did have a fan in the room given to us from the hotel which was a bonus.
