Stayed at this hotel was really nice wouldn’t be my first choice or I won’t be booking again it’s a pet friendly hotel when asked a staff member they mentioned all the rooms was pet friendly which put me off abit. you could smell a funny smell on our floor, dogs barking through the night! Especially paying for a late checkout to have the cleaning staff outside my room having a full on conversation laughing and giggling even though my sign was placed on the door I had to get out of of bed and tell them to be quiet and this was after 10mins of chattering which I found rude being staff , couldn’t then go back to sleep so thanks to the staff :) lovely location very quiet and peaceful

Very busy hotel with functions on all weekend. No air conditioning working , but a fan was in the room as a help. Lots of Weddings guests and celebrations going on, nice to seem them all having a great time. Food was very good and the bar service was fine , good staff everywhere. Parking cost extra per 24 hours. Overall very good and would use again.

Great hotel. No free parking.

The hotel was lovely. Great price vs location and came recommended. The only downside is as a resident you have to pay £10 for parking which was not made clear on the booking.

The hotel has a old charm , a beautiful back patio, it is clean. The stuff is professional. You can walk to the Summer Cafe on the little strip or to the magic Claybury park. The food is okay but, with a little effort in ingredients sourcing and creativity, could be better. The burger is enjoyable , the pizza: a disaster. Overall good or very good for the price

Lovely clean hotel with staff readily available to help. Not your regular budget hotel in terms of what you get for your money. It's similar in price to other budget hotels but you get more quality. Only downside for me was I had to pay extra for parking because I didn't book directly with the hotel and parking could be a nightmare if there are functions happening in the hotel.

Even after having seen pictures of the place before I booked the hotel, it was still bigger than I realised. It isn't easy to get lost though as I found my way round easily. The bedrooms were nice and I enjoyed my breakfast

Our stay was excellent. We were here for a DoctorBarnardo's reunion to meet with other guests who were with me on this very a=site as children in Barnardo's Boy's Garden City home back in the 1960's so it was quite an emotional time for all parties. The meal was very good (we ordered dinner nd drinks) and the breakfast the following morning was very good. Our room was very comfortable although, due to the warm wether, a little stuffy, and the shower was very hot and the temperature control di not work. My wife inadvertently left an item of clothing in the wardrobe. I have asked for this to be forwarded but to date no acknowledgment or reoly has been received.
