I love the colourful decor in this hotel. Such a fabulous looking place. Everyone here has been very friendly and accommodating too and we’ve had a lovely stay.

Location is great, few minutes walk to DLR, local cafes etc for food were delicious too. There was a real buzz locally as the London Marathon was taking place on the high street which was great. Lovely room, comfy bed & powerful shower. Only negatives were the Hotel staff were quite slow, had to go back to reception couple of times for things. Although it is obviously the look of the hotel there is just too much stuff everywhere, it’s really cluttered & you’re scared you’ll knock things over! We were also told our £100 deposit would be returned the pm we checked out, I did not get that until 5 days later. But we were out every day so those things weren’t that much of a hassle. If they cleared out some of the items it would be better, but that’s just personal preference. Would recommend as a base.

A really lovely and unique hotel. Clean, quiet and unique rooms based on.themes from history in the lintary. Food really was excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Lovely sauna small but funtional gym and a turkish haman if you fancy it. Cant fault the hotel in any way really.

Beautiful building and comfortable room but, room smelt of bad drains, no black at blinds as stated, TV did not work, 2 tiny milks for your tea and coffee. Got back to the hotel at 1030pm went for a drink in the bar, barman not happy about having people to serve (told they were open till 11) he was already on wind down. No tonic for my gin, no soda. Had a glass of Luke warm white wine. Breakfast the next morning, we’ll save the £30 per head and go somewhere else. Really poor tea and coffee in those pump thermos flasks. The smallest amount of cooked food that they didn’t re plenish, bagels cut into quarters and rock hard just the tiniest amounts of everything out and not particularly good quality either. Staff unhelpful and not once were we asked how ours stay was. And finally all the Nick nacks, why? Tacky. Over priced, poor food rude staff no customer service.

This was an absolute gem of a stay! One of (if not THE) cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was immaculate, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the property itself is really well maintained, inviting, and unique. I spend a lot of time in London and will be staying here as often as I can. Thank you to the staff for making this experience such a pleasant one!
