We left early due to safety concerns. We stayed at Hotel Lily with our children and checked out early after a very disturbing incident. Around 6:10 a.m., the fire alarm was pulled. In the lobby, we encountered a woman calling for help. Her partner appeared to have been assaulted, and she claimed that the hotel had allowed a group of men into her room. She said those men attacked her partner and pulled the fire alarm as they left. This was incredibly unsettling, especially while traveling with children. We no longer felt comfortable staying and chose to leave. The hotel staff did not offer any clear communication or support during the situation. I would not recommend this hotel for families or anyone concerned about basic guest safety.

Pros: close to subway/tube, nice residential neighborhood, close walk to many places, very nice staff and stored luggage Cons: water dripping down walls and ceiling in hallway and bottom floor, fan in room did not have protective cover, toilet base cracked and leaking, bottom of tub support was rotted and chipping, blow dryer wired into wall and could not reset it when it stopped working

This place was absolutely horrendous, the pictures they advertised are not the rooms you end up with. The first room was dirty the bathroom door had no lock on it nor did it close plus it had mold in the corner of the door and wall , floor was not put together properly either and it was hotter in the room than on a hot July day outside when the upgraded me to the next room the only improvement was they had a chair in the room and the bathroom door closed but the light didn’t work , don’t waste your money coming here, save it and sleep on. The dirty mattresses outside the hotel as you’ll be cooler and probably safer if I could give this place zero stars I would but the app won’t let me

The hotel is really sort of dreadful. No ac and open window means lots of noise and light all night. The rooms are dilapidated, tiny, hot, and grimy. The hallways are absolutely filthy with mouldering towels, garbage, and odors. There was a discarded a water bottle partially filled with what I’m assuming was urine that sat in the corner of one hallway all week. The walls are paper thin, 1/2 the light don’t work and there is not hotel safe in the room which believe me you would want one. Staff was nice enough and area was convenient but facility felt like a flop house.

L'Hotel si presenta come una struttura fatiscente al limite dei parametri minimi sulla sicurezza. Gli ascensori arrivano massimo al 3° piano, ma l'albergo ne conta 4. Inoltre, non tutti i piani sono serviti da questi strumenti: i piani sono segnalati con del nastro adesivo sul tasto indicante il piano. Le camere non hanno aria condizionata, ma la parte peggiore è la pulizia e la manuntenzione. I sanitari del bagno non sono MAI stati lavati per ben 6 giorni. Il bagno aveva un sottolavello a cui mancava una maniglia ed era sporco di schizzi di sapone. Nello spazio tra lavello e muro c'era sporcizia di mesi. Schizzi di vernice su mobili, porte e muri stessi. Fili al vento, fuori dalle canaline e pezzi di porta sorretti da nastro adesivo, che, evidentemente, viene regalato ai gestori visto l'uso copioso che ne fanno. Una notte è anche suonato l' allarme antincendio e il ragazzo alla reception non sapeva assolutamemte cosa fare. La.cosa peggiore è stata, comunque la risposta di Expedia, che mi ha liquidato con un "condivida la sua recensione" e un accredito a mo' di mancia, ma soprattutto che le foto (quelle che trovate aggiunte) non davano un' idea chiara della situazione della struttura. Vergognoso!

The lights in our room didn’t work at all, when we told reception about it they said they would get someone to look at it. When we came back the lights still didn’t work and there was no explanation or communication to us about why. As it was early hours of the morning when we got back we decided to leave it and go to sleep as we were only staying 1 night. The lock on the door also didn’t work.

The room was dirty, the shower area, bedroom had filthy around the edges. One bed had visible stains up the sides. Bathroom door handle a hole in it where it had been kicked in. Hairs on the bed when I arrived. The shower had the water pressure of a leaking tap. The room was next to the door to the lifts and was very noisy. Neighbours were also very loud. Will not stay again.
