The staff greeted from another building, although nice, quite unnecessary as the code being sent and the instructions were super efficient and I would have been able to find the property and access sufficiently. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would book again and can recommend. Bear in mind that these properties are in the process of refurbishment but once inside it is a fantastic stay

Yannis was warm, welcoming and made our stay wonderful. All the extra touches in the room were much appreciated! The location, a quieter side road, in a central and convenient location, was perfect for us.

I have used the Rokxy a few times now especially because of its location to Kings Cross station. Although the rooms are looking a little tired now the customer service greatly outweighs this. The friendly contact by email and WhatsApp keep you updated constantly making check in simple. I will definitely use this hotel again if I'm in London.

The location was ideal for an overnight between train journeys. The communication from Yannis was brilliant, and his whole team were friendly and helpful. The room was small but functional and for one night was ideal. Comfy bed, and the tea trolley delivery was a nice touch.

Lots of thoughtful surprises. Yam is took good care of us. Coming out into the street because we were confused by the address. Around the corner from kings CrossandSt Pancras station. Very nice stay. I would do it again.

The room is so ridiculously small. The only place to sit is a folding chair which of course is folded. Room wasn’t ready until after 6pm. Bath exhaust made a huge unpleasant racket. To sit on toilet you knees hit the sink, shoulder toilet paper dispenser. And the room wasn’t ready. I went across the street to this lovely park Argyl Garden which had, not exaggerating 20 drug users, actively smoking drugs !

Another comfortable stay. We were in the King Suite room in the basement. It is a spacious room with a cute subterranean shower/ wet room. The only challenge in the London heat is getting fresh air in. The window did not have a safety so if we left it open anybody could get in when we were out or asleep. Apart from that it was very comfortable and the staff and small welcoming touches are awesome. Would stay here again.

We stayed at the hotel during an unusually hot period. The room was like an oven. There was no air circulation at all other than by a small portable fan. During any other time, the room may have been quite adequate.

Excellent location minutes from Kings Cross Station yet quiet and secluded spot. Check-in was quick and efficient with great communication from staff. Room was quirky and uniquely decorated. Very comfortable and lovely touches with free mini bar and sandwiches left in room after checking in. Altogether a great place to stay, will not hesitate to stay again. Extra thanks to Yannis, who was great leading up to stay with excellent communication and efficient info.

Great location, fantastic hotel

Some lovely touches here…a welcome gift of Fortnum & Mason jam, a free mini bar with soft drinks, and a lovely surprise of a pot of tea delivered to the room in the morning

Underwhelming stay & asked to leave a good review

Room did not meet our expectations. The room was really small and felt quite claustrophobic. There was no storage at all, and 3 hangers on a peg thing for the ‘wardrobe’. No proper drawers, cupboards or a table so nowhere to get ready or to open up a suitcase if you had one. The paint on the wall looked tired in places and the furnishings felt cheap. For the price we paid, I was expecting better quality for things such as the mattress which dipped in the middle and was small, the bed frame, the towels, etc. We did get a free ‘minibar’ but this was just a couple bottles of water, 2 Fanta cans, 2 foster cans, half a sandwich and 2 kitkats - I think they’d be better off spending the money on upgrading the room. The bathroom was tiny. The shower flooded very easily and the plug drainage was really poor so I had to stop showering half way through! Again, the quality just felt cheap. There was just one shower gel dispenser on the wall and for the money I’d have expected shampoo, conditioner, etc. The room itself has poor ventilation and got extremely hot and we felt uncomfortable all night. There was a fan provided but it didn’t do much so we left really early as we didn’t sleep. The cleaning standards could also be improved, we found dust in quite a few spaces. As we were leaving, the member of staff said ‘you will leave us a good review’ when we told him about the shower issue. So seems like they ask for good reviews rather than earning them which I don’t agree with.

Great communication with proprietor over texts and messages. Wonderful service provided, very kind property owners and very helpful. The townhouse we had was Hygge and while it was adorable, so cute with two separate rooms and Two (small) full bathrooms! All at a good value; keep in mind, it is small and no air conditioner for hot summer days, though they promised next year they plan to have A/C.

Living room w a TV & a record player. Very small windows.

Bedroom, Queen size bed. An electric fan was provided for hot weather.
