「This is a lovely place to stay in Charlottesville. The rooms and lobby are fantastic. We enjoyed the arboretum behind the hotel. The staff is helpful and I love the ability to text requests. The food was a bit disappointing this time compared to previous stays. Nobody staffing the espresso machine and no other options close by. Breakfast was pricey and mediocre. 」

「Property is very convenient to the University of Virginia and in a quiet and pretty neighborhood. Staff is extremely helpful and there’s a nice bar, quiet and beautiful swimming area, and cafe on the property. Rooms are a little dated and fairly sparse. Would have given five stars if not for the rooms.」

「This cute place is in the heart of downtown and UVA. Very walkable. Finding a place to park close by can be challenging but at least you can unload right by the check in. The charm and thought put into the furnishings makes this fun and I would return. Everything looked new, bed and linens great, and the turntable and records were a big hit with thoughtful jazz selections. Our king room for two was very spacious. 「Welcoming hotel in Charlottesville. Bright and clean lobby with great bar. Roof top bar smashing as well. Our room was clean and the bed wonderful to sleep on! Breakfast at the coffee shop was outstanding. Brilliantly they offer the breakfast menu from the indoor restaurant. Walkable to everything. Just loved it!」

「Lovely hotel! We were in Charlottesville for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay. The lobby area/conservatory is so beautiful. I also loved how the hotel is steps away from a charming promenade of streets and restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again if I find myself in Charlottesville for another occasion. 」
