「We stayed in Room 3, if the other rooms were as great as ours then it would be hard to beat this location. The view of the river and sunset were awesome. The restaurant service would be hard to beat anywhere and the food was excellent. All in all we loved our stay at Surry Seafood Inn.」

My husband and I enjoyed breakfast every day with a beautiful view of the water & the staff were so friendly and accommodating for all of our needs. A+ for the luxurious towels and amenities. 「A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! 」

「Everything was amazing the food was great but the cost for the meal plans is just to high next time instead of eating there we are just going to go to one of the many restaurants down the street and go to the I hop down the street for breakfast it is cheaper my family paid a total of almost 160 dollars for breakfast alone just for two days . Not doing that again but we had an amazing time」

「The hotel was okay. However, the property is a little dated. Also, I didn’t have a sitting chair in the room. Finally, and I have never experienced this before; but there were no cups in the room!」

「We enjoyed our stay at Aldrich House in early June. It was clean and comfortable and very conveniently located in a quiet cul-de-sac within easy walking distance of the historic area of Williamsburg. Tom was friendly and helpful and I can warmly recommend this accommodation.」
