「Fantastic service all around 」

「My husband, adult daughter, and I had a double double room. Since our reservation was for 10 days, the hotel put us on the 14th floor. Stunning views of Manhattan! We were awed by the sunrises and sunsets. Tickled that the Empire State and a building I don’t know the name of showed up in Knicks colors (this was during the playoffs). 「Hotel hits all the 5 star spots apart from 2 points. 1 - the rooms are not soundproof at all, and being able to hear the conversations in the room next door so clear that i could repeat what they were saying is not what i would expect. Second - the front desk staff are not as polished and committed to the level of service i would expect from a top end 5 star hotel. Doormen were top class. All in all it's a good hotel, but with so much choice in NY, i have stayed in better.」

「Great room, unfortunately the well known bar at the lobby was closed for a private party. In my opinion hotel bars should not be closed for hotel guests. That’s an amenity guest pay for and sometimes the reason a guest may book a hotel. Like going to a ski resort but the slopes are closed for a private event of a rich guy and guest just watch through a window. Having said that, the hotel is well located and reasonably priced. 」

「I am an VIP. The hotel is so small and so expensive. When I arrived, I checked in the first room, the drain is clogged. Then we been moved to a very small room. I barely can walk in the room.」
