"The rooms are being renovated and mine was clean and like new. I think more room improvements are coming as I'd describe it as 'spartan'. I only needed a nice clean bed and great shower after a day of hiking and biking and this was just fine. "

"What a wonderful trip, first timers to the Adirondack's and it was AMAZINGLY AWESOME. Saranac Lake is a laid back fun little village. You have the faster past in Lake Placid which was a short scenic drive. We rode our bikes along the Rail Trail, shopped in both towns, very good restaurants - had barbeque and the BEST Brussel Sprouts at Smoke Signals in Lake Placid."
