The rooms were small but nicely designed. Beds were comfortable. However, the service was perfunctory. But for an affordable stay, I would recommend this hotel. "

"Clean rooms and spacious for 2 people but we had 4 adults single beds and the room was a bit cramped which is expected in Japan. Very close to all shops and attractions. "

"Great place to stay. One stop from Kyoto station. You can access the hotel via the train bridge. There is a rooftop terrace which has views across the city. Staff are lovely. Breakfast has done western options but the Japanese options are better. Kids loved it. Bath and shower was fantastic."
