There are restaurants and a Family Mart combini next door. One block away there is a supermarket. You'll have all your needs covered at walking distance. I choose breakfast included and you get a mix of japanese with western items bento box. In the front you have a nice coffe machine, and matcha tea in the afternoons.

Im visiting kyoto again for this hotel alone! The room was soo nice and relaxing. Employees are so kind. I must say the washing machines is not it though. Never fully dried our clothes so we hung the clothes all over thr room and it dried in a few hours. Other than that everything was amazing!

Room wasn’t fully clean when I arrived. You should note there are no windows in the hotel so natural light and seeing what the weather is like isn’t an option. Nice arrival touch with matcha and free coffee but it’s a very basic hotel. The room itself wasn’t at all clean. Stains by the toilet which meant I needed to pop a mat down as it felt unhygienic using it. A very wobbly tap sink. Stains on the furniture and walking out of your room you were treated with dirty laundry and horrible smells. It was fine for one night for the price but I wouldn’t go back in a hurry. Great as a low-budget option but cleanliness is high up for me plus having natural light. Also pictures weee misleading as it seemed there would be a bath in the room.

The room was small but well designed. The flooring in the toilet room should have been tiled instead of the textile flooring. There were stains in the toilet room floor which could not be cleaned. Otherwise we are very happy with the hotel, front desk staff and especially liked the tea/coffee/juice drinks and bread (breakfast) in the lobby.

The room was clean and modern, with a convenient location. Although there was a window, it was dark. Since most of the day was spent sightseeing in Kyoto and the area though, this wasn’t a problem. Having breakfast provided was also convenient, with a mix of Asian and western options. Careful with late checkout fees.
