「If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. The staff on duty were attentive without being intrusive and we were able to be ourselves. I really hope we get a chance to return as I would really really enjoy a longer stay.」

「This place went through an extreme makeover and is top notch! Very comfy beds, beautiful bathroom and great AC! Check in was a little difficult since Expedia didn’t automatically send me the door code to check in, but I called the property and someone assisted me promptly. Aside from that little inconvenience, I’d stay here over the Holiday Inn ANYDAY! Trust me this is a good stay. The very old reviews no longer reflect the property the way it is today! Seriously, it’s ok to stay here!」

「We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again. We will come in on Wednesday ( The Tin Mill was open and good on both Tuesday and Wednesday) and leave on...
