However, we felt that the overall experience did not quite match our expectations of a five-star stay. There are also house rules which, while understandable, felt rather strict and perhaps took away slightly from the relaxed atmosphere one might hope for when staying at an inn. Overall, the property itself is attractive and well cared for, but for us the hospitality did not quite reach the level suggested by its five-star rating."
