The bar downstairs was amazing - huge selection of whiskies and the knowledge to go with that. Also open mic night with lovely Scottish ballads and good music other nights.

If you love whisky or not this is the place to stay. The outside appearance does not do this accommodation justice. A very clean and comfortable room, if small ( we were in room 7). The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The bar staff have excellent whisky knowledge. The bar food was also very good. We would definitely stay again.

Not a conventional hotel. But rooms over a pub. Warmly greeted although a bit chaotic in pub at time as setting up for and event Room was up one flight of stairs. But are several floors so be mindful of stairs with luggage and mobility Had a compact double which was ideal for me as a single traveller sink is bedroom and then separate toilet and shower. Compact but fine for me. Water pressure was amazing and a pleasant surprise, only thing was the shower gel dispenser was empty, but the toiletries were lovely even had body lotion, in iroom also had tea and. Coffee which also came with hot chocolate and biscuits which is always a nice touch, Being over a pub with entertainment and only on first floor I was a bit worried about nose but it was fine though did heF people coming upstairs about 1 in morning No breakfast option here but was given a little token To go bag

Cool quirky place with an awesome whisky bar we did the whisky tasting event. The host to the event was great Scottish story telling singing playing fiddle and guitar and tasting 5 great whiskies good fun. Cheers Dan and Kelly Canada

Cozy rooms, atmospheric decor, friendly staff, and a convenient location just around the corner from Oban Distillery. The on-site beer (and whisky) garden is a great amenity, and bar staff are very knowledgeable about what they’re pouring.

Whisky vaults has a great bar with live music, if we hadn’t been staying we would have missed a really good night. Room was clean with a comfy bed although the bathroom was very compact with very little room to manoeuvre. We had booked room only but were given a breakfast bag at check-in which was an unexpected surprise.

I enjoyed my stay. My room was tiny, and so was the bathroom, but everything was clean and comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. I thought the staff went the extra mile to be helpful, and to provide upgraded soaps and shampoo, coffee and tea, and a breakfast bag with water, pastry and an apple. Plus, you can eat and drink downstairs at MacGregors. I signed up for a whisky tasting which was really fun! Whisky, music and stories. Made for an enjoyable evening.

All the staff we talked to were helpful and nice. In a good location for shops, bars and ferry. We found parking at Tweedle car park was much cheaper than the small one next to it. We just found our double standard bedroom extremely small and not big enough for 2 people staying for 4 nights. Man on duty did try to change rooms for us but none were free.

Great bar and entertainment downstairs. Vibe was brilliant. Rooms are a little small but workable. Messaging with venue didn’t work and was routed to other company’s.
