"Great! Self check-in, a quick walk from Yōga Station, and a quiet neighborhood. I'm short so the room was cozy, but if you're tall/large it may not be as easy to use. Otherwise great--small balcony, a deep tub, and a washing machine."

"The unit is so convenient 4-minutes walk to Sangen Chaya station which is close to major Tokyo areas. It is very clean and comfortable room with quiet area yet so close to stores and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay."

"There isn’t too much directly around the hotel, but if you walk for 10-15 minutes north-west there’s a great shopping area. Room was massive with a queen sized bed, and it was relatively clean, staff were kind and helpful."

"Fantastically maintained property.
Great local access to train station, food and shops.
Previous reviews noted noise complaints but we didn’t have any issues.
Great place to stay with a family of 5!!"

"Everything is soooo close by. Room was cleaned whenever we wanted it to be cleaned. Free popcorn, drink and bath salts each day at entrance. Some noise at night, but didn't annoy us, get ear plugs if your a light sleeper. This was the cheapest and nicest hotel for us and would recommend and stay here again. "

"The rooms and amenities are excellent. the service is perfect and very helpful and accommodating especially the concierge who are both very helpful. Only the breakfast restaurant was problematic. I’ve been coming here for 20 years and it has always been great but now they have breakfast included tours and they are not properly staffed so don’t expect to receive ordered coffee or have silverware."
"Wonderful staff, bikes to enjoy, a beautiful view from the room which was clean and spacious. We loved our stay here and the location of the hotel. We could walk to the train station and main area we liked in Kyoto. The hotel served a nice breakfast and we ordered dinner one night we enjoyed. "
"If you want to stay in one of the most interesting, cool, and delux neighbourhoods in Tokyo, while enjoying a uniquely Tokyo hotel experience, Hotel Mustard is an excellent choice. The staff are super friendly and helpful; breakfast at the cafe downstairs is delicious, high quality, and convenient; and honestly, if you love vinyl records and minimalist Tokyo style, this hotel ticks all the boxes. It’s excellent value for a neighbourhood like this. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "
"The facilities were great. Coffee shop crew was always cheerful and helpful. Front desk staff was kind and courteous. Housekeeping was on the ball with keeping the room tidy and in stock.
And finally, location, location, location! Definitely recommend this property! I'll be back...."
