"The Only Review You Need: HOTEL GRAPHY SHIBUYA — 10/10
My first hostel experience, and I was skeptical going in, but HOTEL GRAPHY completely changed my mind. 10/10 and I’d absolutely stay again.
The location is probably its biggest advantage. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Shibuya Station, which connects you basically everywhere in Tokyo, and Shibuya Crossing is right there too.
I stayed in a 6-bed dorm. Everything was clean, quiet, and professionally maintained. Each bed has a blackout curtain, personal light, and charging ports. You also get a good-sized locker with a lock/key provided, so don’t waste money buying your own like I did!
The shared bathrooms and showers were always clean and never felt overcrowded. Staff were extremely helpful, spoke great English, and check-in/check-out was effortless. They’ll also hold your luggage if you arrive early.
Definitely get the breakfast. It was around $7 and genuinely good. You also get a free drink ticket, free beer from 5–6 PM, Wi-Fi, and tons of free necessities like toothbrushes and toiletries.
The 7th floor is a hidden gem with a pool table, balcony, free coffee/drinks, lounge area, and bathroom. There’s also a 24/7 laundromat next door.
For the price, location, cleanliness, and amenities, the value is incredible. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, groups, or your first Tokyo trip. I’d book it again without hesitation."
